ARCH PEI has created a new database called ARCH Archives. This database is for ARCH members who want to gain information on numerous topics to hopefully improve their halls i.e. volunteers, hosting events, etc. There is also information about ARCH itself and what our goals are. Check it out at: archarchives.wordpress.com

Marcel Arsenault of Cooke’s Insurance has provided us with a number of helpful documents concerning the insurance of your halls. These documents can all be found here.

ARCH PEI has a new Facebook page! Check us out and “like” us at http://www.facebook.com/archpei2016/

Visit our calendar of events to find out what's happening in community halls across PEI, and use our hall finder to locate those halls and print driving directions!

If you are a community hall interested in joining our network, please email us: peihalls@gmail.com or fill out the Membership Form and send it to the address on the form along with membership fee of $50. In 2012, ARCH PEI along with the Cooper Institute organized two workshops surrounding the topic of keeping rural community halls alive. We would like to thank the Cooper Institute for their informative presentation. A summary of the workshops can be found here: Keeping Rural Community Halls Alive Compilation.

The winners of the 2013 lottery were: Prize Package #1– Joyce Blackett, Prize Package #2– Hal Parker, Prize Package #3– Robert Livingston. We would like to thank all the community halls and local businesses for their fantastic donations. A copy of the prize packages is available at the bottom of this page. The Association of Rural Community Halls would like to thank everyone who supported the lottery.

Minutes of recent annual meetings are available here: 2013 AGM Minutes and the 2015 AGM draft minutes. There was no annual meeting in 2014. The minutes of the 2016 AGM are found here.

We are excited about our newest project. ARCH will be working with the Atlantic Presenters Association (APA) and Cameleon Productions in order to get support in professional development and programming, with the ultimate goal to be able to present more music, theatre and comedy shows in our halls throughout the year.

The new membership year is now underway –so it is time to renew your membership.
